Built next to waterfall-filled cliffs, Amatsu Shimeiguu is a Shinto shrine. The enshrined deities are Amaterasu no O Kami, Sarutahiko no O Kami, and Ame no Uzume no Mikoto. The shrine is fully interactive from temizu purification, ringing the bell, modern kamidana, and buying items like omamori charms and omikuji fortunes. You can even pick up free prayer gestures, all from the shrine office. Further, the shrine grounds also host a tea garden and chashitsu (tea room) for conducting tea ceremony, and there are small, auxiliary shrines to other kami, too. 天津神明宮は、滝が流れ落ちる断崖に隣接して建つ神社です。御祭神は天照大神、猿田彦大神、天之鈿女命です。手水、鈴を鳴らす、お守りやおみくじなどを購入するなど、神社では様々な体験ができます。社務所では無料の祈祷も受けることができます。神楽を披露したり、その他の特別なイベントを開催するための神楽舞台もあります。さらに、境内には茶庭と茶室があり、茶会を催すことができます。
